On this page

  1. 1. What WCX is for
  2. 2. Prohibited products and businesses
  3. 3. Restricted: only with our prior written approval
  4. 4. Honest marketing
  5. 5. Data rules
  6. 6. Platform integrity and security
  7. 7. Enforcement
  8. 8. Reporting abuse

This policy applies to every store on WCX and to every Seller and user of WCX, and is part of our Terms of Service. It follows the prohibited-business rules of the payment processors used on WCX (Whop and Stripe) and the rules of the card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover). If a processor's or card network's rule is stricter than this policy, the stricter rule applies.

1. What WCX is for

WCX is built for digital products delivered online, such as PDF files, templates, video, audio and other digital content, sold under each store's own brand. Selling physical goods or services through WCX requires our prior written approval.

2. Prohibited products and businesses

You may not use WCX to sell, offer or promote:

  1. anything illegal where you or your Buyers are, or anything that helps others break the law;
  2. academic fraud: essay mills, contract cheating or academic work for hire;
  3. adult or sexually explicit content or services, including AI-generated content of that kind;
  4. alcohol, tobacco, vaping or nicotine products; cannabis, THC products and related paraphernalia;
  5. prescription drugs, controlled substances, or supplements and "pseudo-pharmaceutical" products that lack required approvals or make unproven or harmful health claims;
  6. medical, mental-health, therapy, counseling or telemedicine services, and IV vitamin or hydration treatments;
  7. debt relief, credit repair, debt collection or lending services, and proprietary trading ("prop") firms;
  8. unregistered or unlicensed financial services or investment products, including brokerage, escrow, payment facilitation for other merchants, check cashing, crowdfunding, and tipping or donation platforms;
  9. cryptocurrencies, NFTs, staking, yield products or cloud mining;
  10. gambling, betting, lotteries, penny auctions, and sports forecasting or odds-making with a cash or material prize;
  11. "get rich quick" schemes, business opportunities that promise high rewards for little effort, pyramid schemes, and multi-level marketing based on recruitment;
  12. hacking tools, malware, phishing kits, stalkerware, covert surveillance or recording devices, scraping tools, fake engagement (followers, likes, reviews) or any other platform manipulation;
  13. counterfeit goods or goods that infringe intellectual property, pirated content, unauthorized streaming or IPTV, game cheats or unofficial in-game currency;
  14. fake IDs or credentials, forged or unauthorized government documents, impersonation of government agencies, fake references, or sale of accounts on third-party platforms;
  15. content that promotes hate or discrimination based on protected characteristics, or that glorifies or incites real-world violence;
  16. weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, hazardous chemicals, or instructions to make or modify them;
  17. human organs, tissue, blood or other body parts; protected or endangered wildlife; illegally obtained cultural artifacts;
  18. legal services, private investigation or repossession services;
  19. political campaigns or fundraising, religious organizations, unregistered charities or personal fundraising;
  20. telemarketing or door-to-door sales; ticket resale that uses bots or breaks the law; timeshares, airline tickets or cruises;
  21. anything else a payment processor or card network prohibits, or restricts without the approval it requires.

3. Restricted: only with our prior written approval

The following are allowed only with our prior written approval, and the processor's approval where it requires one:

  • purely educational content about cryptocurrencies or digital assets, with no sale of assets and no investment solicitation;
  • information or analysis about sports or betting, with no wagering and no prizes;
  • education about finance, investing or trading (personalized advice, signals, copy trading and managed accounts are not allowed);
  • physical goods or services.

4. Honest marketing

WCX is built on one rule: nothing invented. On your pages, ads and emails:

  1. Describe each product truthfully: what it includes, its format and its access period. Never promise "lifetime access".
  2. Show clear, complete prices, with the currency stated explicitly. Show a previous or "regular" price only if the product was really sold at that price. Give every discount its real conditions and end date.
  3. Use only real social proof. No fake, bought, invented or AI-generated reviews or testimonials, and no invented purchase notifications or visitor counters. Disclose any incentive given for a review. A testimonial that shows unusual results must say what results are typical.
  4. Use only real urgency. Countdowns only for real deadlines that do not reset when the page reloads; "limited" only if supply is really limited. When an offer ends, it ends.
  5. Make no income, earnings or "get rich quick" claims, no guaranteed results, and no unproven health, medical or financial claims.
  6. Never present AI-generated people as real customers or experts. Follow the advertising networks' rules on labeling AI-generated content.
  7. Never pre-select paid extras. One-click post-purchase offers must show the price clearly and a visible "No, thanks". Recurring charges require clear terms before payment, express consent and an easy way to cancel.
  8. Ads must match the page they lead to. Do not cloak (show reviewers something different from what Buyers see). Do not create new accounts, stores or domains to get around an enforcement decision by an advertising network, a processor or WCX.
  9. Honor your own refund policy and answer your Buyers promptly.
  10. Follow the advertising policies of every network you use.

5. Data rules

  1. Collect only the data you need. Publish an accurate privacy notice on your store and keep your consent texts up to date.
  2. Never override visitors' privacy choices. Do not hide or bypass the consent banner or any privacy choice your store offers, such as the "Your privacy choices" link or Global Privacy Control when they are on.
  3. Do not upload sensitive data (health or biometric data, government ID numbers, card numbers or passwords) or ask Buyers for it, unless a WCX feature expressly requires it.
  4. Send marketing emails only with the consent or legal basis required in the Buyer's country, with complete and accurate sender details (including a postal address) and a working one-click unsubscribe. Never use bought, rented or scraped lists, and never email suppressed addresses.
  5. Do not try to re-identify hashed data, or combine data in ways an advertising network's terms forbid.
  6. Answer your Buyers' privacy requests. Tell us immediately at support@wcx.digital if you learn of a security incident affecting your store.
  7. Do not direct your store to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age set by local law), and do not knowingly collect their data.

6. Platform integrity and security

  1. Do not access accounts or data that are not yours. Do not probe, scan or load-test WCX without our written permission.
  2. Do not get around limits, bot checks or security controls, and do not interfere with other Sellers or Buyers.
  3. No card testing, fraud, money laundering, or processing another business's payments through your store.
  4. Keep your sign-in methods secure and do not share your access. Invite team members with their own access instead.
  5. Report vulnerabilities as described on our Security page.

7. Enforcement

We may review stores and content and ask for information, such as product samples, evidence for claims, or licenses. If something breaks this policy, we may remove content, pause a store, suspend or terminate an account, and inform processors when required. When possible, we will tell you what is wrong and how to fix it. Serious violations, such as misrepresenting what you sell, selling prohibited products or fraud, may lead to immediate termination. Processors and advertising networks may take their own actions, such as holding funds or closing accounts. To appeal a decision, write to support@wcx.digital within 30 days.

8. Reporting abuse

To report a store or content that breaks this policy, write to support@wcx.digital with the store's web address and what is wrong.
